In order to take advantage of the Sage global brand, Sage Software (formerly Best Software) has changed the names of two popular ACCPAC products. ACCPAC CRM 5.7 is now Sage Accpac CRM 5.7. ACCPACcrm.com has been re-branded sagecrm.com and moved to Sage Software’s state-of-the-art data center in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Now the same powerful CRM tools that help businesses improve relationships with their customers, increase revenues, and decrease administrative costs will have the power of a global brand behind them. What’s more, they've positioned Sage ACCPAC CRM at a price point that fits our go-to-market strategy as the SMB leader in providing fully integrated CRM solutions.

Best Software Re-branding

"ACCPAC International has been operating as a business unit of Best Software since its acquisition by Best Software's parent company, the Sage Group, plc,  Sage has operated in North America under the name Best Software. Sage, has recently announced that it will resume use of the Sage brand in North America.  This re-branding will enable Sage to better leverage its worldwide strengths as the global leader in delivering business management software for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) . As part of this branding transition, the company will add the Sage name to its product naming structure as major new releases occur. Sage plans to fully adopt the Sage brand for its North American business by March 2006. "


Sage Software (formerly Best Software) Announces Novell Linux Certification for ACCPAC Advantage Series

 
On May 11th, Sage Software announced its certification for the award-winning ACCPAC Advantage Series accounting application, v5.3, for deployment on the IBM eServer xSeries with the new IBM DB2 Universal Database Express database running on the Novell Linux Small Business Suite.
 

Successfully tested for optimum installation and performance on both the desktop and server, ACCPAC Advantage Series is the industry’s only accounting application designed for small enterprises that runs on IBM DB2 for both Linux and Windows operating systems.
